Video Publisher
The private tool Amazing Gains Limited uses to prepare and publish videos to the YouTube channels it manages for its clients.
What it does
- Receives finished videosEdited videos are placed in a Google Drive folder that Amazing Gains Limited controls, one folder per client.
- Cleans the video fileHidden file metadata, such as the recording location, device details and creation dates, is removed. The picture and sound are not changed or re-encoded.
- Adds the video's detailsOur team enters the title, description, tags, thumbnail and schedule.
- Uploads it to the client's channelWith the channel owner's permission, Video Publisher uploads the video to their YouTube channel, sets the thumbnail and playlist, and schedules or publishes it as requested.
Who uses it
Video Publisher is not a public service and has no sign-up. It is used only by Amazing Gains Limited, for clients who have asked us to manage their YouTube uploads. A client connects their channel once by signing in with Google and approving the permissions listed below. They can disconnect it at any time.
How it uses Google and YouTube data
Video Publisher uses the YouTube API Services. It asks for these permissions on a connected channel:

Video Publisher does not read the channel's analytics, comments, subscribers or messages. It does not ask for access to the client's email, contacts or Google Drive. Our Privacy Policy explains what we store and for how long.
Disconnect at any time. A channel owner can remove Video Publisher's access from their Google Account's Third-party apps & services page. Uploads stop straight away.
